Windward Arrow

The Windward Arrow is Windward Reports’ newest offering, a portal interface for robust & powerful server engine, which allows any business user to easily design reports and get access to their data without taxing IT resources. This turnkey product can be installed and operated completely independent of programmers. Arrow is the complete package: a website that provides report design, generation, scheduling, report management and distribution. It reduces total cost of generating and managing reports by allowing business users to create their own reports as expertly as a programmer would do it.

Like the Windward Reports Standard Server Engine (Java & .NET) , this portal product works with AutoTag, an add-in to Microsoft Word, to allow easy report design. The portal interface encompasses the entire reporting process, leading users through a step-by-step data connection and set up process, to report creation and management. Documents can be generated by merging data from your data sources into a template for a wide array of outputs — DOCX, PDF, RTF, HTML, WordML, XLSX, XLS, SpreadsheetML, TXT and multi-part MIME email. Documents like these, or charts and graphs as well are now at your finger-tips. Reports can also be scheduled for days, months or weeks in advance to run automatically.

Windward Arrow Online Demo Information:

Windward Reports has installed a live demonstration copy of the Windward Arrow on its own webserver for our customers and potential clients. You can login by visiting the URL below and using the Username and Password combination for the demo account. Windward Reports has also created a read only user to our demo users can try creating their own SQL data connections to the sample Northwind database.
