What is Code Wars?

The Windward Code Wars (also know as the Windward International Collegiate Championship) is an international programming contest. Groups of university students are given eight hours to create an artificial intelligence (A.I.). These A.I.s then compete against each other to see which one performs the best.

This is a different approach to most coding competitions, which tend to be highly technical and individual. We wanted a contest that was more accessible (contestants start with a functioning A.I. and improve it) and more collaborative.
