Patrick Bates Named Director of Marketing at Windward Studios

Boulder, CO – Reporting and document generation software leader Windward Studios has announced the promotion of Patrick Bates to the position of Director of Marketing.
Bates’ primary responsibilities will include developing marketing strategies through the study of economic trends, tracking changes in the reporting and document generation marketplace, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
“Patrick has been a great contributor to our company, and we’re excited that he’ll be taking on this new role,” said David Thielen, CEO of Windward.
Prior to leading the marketing department, Bates was Windward’s lead advertising specialist. Previous experience includes Ad Operations Specialist for GENPACT at Google and Customer Support Representative at H&R Block. Bates has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
As Windward’s Marketing Director, Bates’ main focus will be on:
- Generating new prospect leads to support company growth,
- Effectively managing the marketing department, including efficient use of all human and financial capital,
- Growing Windward’s brand presence and impression share to an ever increasing worldwide audience, and
- Constantly improving user experience for incoming prospects on the web.
