Windward Forms Three New OEM and ASP Partnerships
eCraft, servicePath LLC and RBB Innovations, Ltd. Can Take Advantage of OData Reporting and Document Generation
Boulder, CO – Windward, a leader in enabling OData reporting, announced it has signed three new OEM partnerships with companies in diverse industries worldwide. The new partners are RBB Innovations Ltd., a Canadian provider of integrated human service software company solutions; eCraft, a Finnish company specializing in making ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems usable; and servicePath LLC, a company based in the United Arab Emirates that supports service providers in designing, building, selling and managing the solution life-cycle.
“Our OEM and ASP partners care about what their software does and how to make it better, more popular and useful to their customers,” said Shirley Clawson, CEO of Windward. “We’re excited to welcome three new accomplished businesses to the long list of Windward partners.”
RBB Innnovations Ltd chose Windward because their SaaS products required a web-based enterprise reporting and dashboard solution; Windward was able to deliver a solution where RBB Innovations would develop the templates for their clients to execute simply via their browsers. New OEM customer eCraft has been customizing ERP systems more than 14 years for a wide range of customers, and they adopted Windward technology rather than build a reporting system from scratch for a new scenario. And servicePath LLC is using Windward for both reporting and document generation because Windward was able to fit their “fairly strict requirements” about the need for multi-tenancy support.
These three companies are joining forces with Windward, recognized as the only full-featured, robust Java and .NET engine to use Microsoft Word and Excel as a layout tool, putting template design and report and document generation power in the hands of the end user. Windward works by merging any XML, SQL or custom data source, including OData reporting, with a Microsoft Office report template. It feeds data into the template to create a what-you-see-is-what-you-get report or document that can be generated in DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, HTML, direct to printer, RTF, XLS, WordML, TXT, and CSV.
“Windward’s ability to integrate easily and quickly into any software application is just the start of the empowerment we offer partners,” Clawson added. “We reduce complexity, production time and total cost of reporting software, making our solutions ideal for OEM use.”
