Windward Studios Joins the Software & Information Industry Association
Boulder, CO – On December 1, 2014, reporting and document generation solution leader Windward Studios became a full corporate member of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). The SIIA, a Washington D.C.-based organization, seeks to promote, protect and inform the software industry.
The SIIA is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries. It provides global services in government relations, business development, corporate education and intellectual property protection to leading companies that are setting the pace for the digital age. The SIIA is well known for its annual CODIE Awards, which have recognized software excellence for almost 30 years.
“Windward Studios is honored to be a part of this important association,” said Larry Goldman, Windward’s Director of Marketing. “We look forward to connecting with fellow members at events and forums, and we’re excited to contribute to the important dialogue that SIIA makes possible for software developers.”
Windward will bring more than a decade’s worth of software experience and authority to the alliance. Windward created one of the first commercial solutions to use Microsoft Office programs to format and edit report templates, and the sophisticated Windward engine pulls data from multiple sources and merges that data into reports and documents. Windward’s solution allows IT professionals to create basic templates and business users to customize those templates and create variations to meet their reporting needs.
Windward Studios delivers powerful embedded report software and document generation solutions to technology providers, software companies and enterprises in the financial services, government, energy, insurance and health care industries. Windward enables businesses worldwide to create custom reports better and faster. Windward has been delighting customers – technical and non – since 2004.
