Language Support
Windward Reports uses unicode. So you can use any charset/codepage in Word. (Note: older versions of Word do not use unicode, they use charsets. Windward Reports converts this to unicode when it runs.)
You can also mix any languages even in individual data fields that are then placed in the final report.
Output in DOCX, XLSX, PDF, RTF, WordML, and SpreadsheetML is all unicode based and there is no charset. (Technically RTF always has to have a "default" charset but the text is unicode so the charset is irrelevant.)
Html output can optionally be in either utf-8 (unicode) or the charset/codepage that the rtf template was created in.
Text output must be in a charset. The output will always use the charset of the template.
