Learn the most basic and most important skill in AutoTag: Using tags. Tags come in several different forms that grant you the flexibility required to design your document. In this tutorial, we will go over inserting an "Out" tag, the most basic tag which acts as a placeholder for data.
After you have learned about inserting tags, and what they can do for you, we would like to show you a particularly useful tag, the "ForEach" tag. The ForEach tag allows you to perform the same actions and display in the same format each row of data in a database table.
Pre-requisites: Inserting a Tag
AutoTag ships with several sample templates that demonstrate AutoTag's purpose in several fields, as well as sample tag usage so you can see exactly how a certain tag is used. This tutorial simply shows you how to access those templates. If you are a quick learner or in a hurry, the sample templates may be the best way for you to learn what you need to get started!
